The second special general convention of the Rastriya Nagarik Party (RNP) is taking place on coming Saturday at Dhumbarahi in Kathmandu. This information was shared at a press conference here today. The convention will amend party statute and pick a new party working committee, said party chair Shukra Bahadur Gurung. The party with its main agenda of providing free education and health has drawn the attention of the government to provide concessional loans of up to Rs 1.5 million without collaterals in a bid to stop youths from opting for foreign employments. So far, it has expanded its organisations in 31 districts across the country and the expansion will be extended to all 77 districts and all local levels, said chair Gurung. Established in 2070 BS, it convened its first special general convention in 2075 BS.
